Elk Steaks, roasts, burgers we have it all.  We have it all because we actually  process the animals ourselves at custom USDA packing houses, retrieving every possible elk meat product so as to maximize the useable protein and minimize waste.  Others buy their elk meat through brokers, picking and choosing a few premium cuts to be sold at very premium prices.  So, why buy from a retailer at a higher price after a broker's markup, when you can buy elk meat from a grower, processor, distributor, and retailer ranch all in one with true lower ranch price. 

 

Lean, hardy and much more filling than Beef, Elk meat can be a taste treat lower in fat and cholesterol and higher in active protein, iron and many other essential  minerals.  Simply, Elk meat is the the most delicious, richest and leanest meat you have ever had. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING can beat a flame-broiled elk steak, hot, right off your barbeque.  Fit for a king, but priced for the masses, elk meat is the now the special treat you can eat every week!  Remember though, as a game meat it must be cooked as rare as you can possibly take it.  Since elk meat is so lean prolonged cooking will dry the meat losing a bit of flavor and tenderness.  Marinates, or moist cooking methods can help for those who like to cook elk meat past medium.

 

MOOSE MEAT  Many of you, have asked for Moose Meat.  Moose is the largest member of the Deer family, but Elk are second only to moose in size and stature.  Unfortunately, almost all moose meat is derived from wild-shot moose.  It is illegal to sell wild-shot moose, hence moose meat is very difficult to purchase.  Further, Moose are very hard to raise in captivity, hence very few can be found on farms.   While moose meat is great tasting, we think elk meat is even better and is much more readily available.  Both elk meat and moose meat make very lean venison, sweeter than beef and much better for you being lower in fat and cholesterols.    Sooo, While you cant hardly get moose meat you can get elk meat, today right here on the net!
